What is AskWho?
AskWho is an AI visibility tracker for marketing agencies. It asks AI assistants the questions your clients' customers ask, such as "best plumber near me", with live web search turned on, and records whether each client is recommended, in what position, which competitors are named instead, and which websites are quoted. Every client is re-checked weekly, and you get a report to send under your agency's name.
What is AI visibility?
More and more people ask ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude or Perplexity who to hire instead of searching Google. The AI usually recommends just two or three businesses. AI visibility is how often your client is one of them. AskWho measures it, shows who is recommended instead, and tracks it over time.
Which assistants do you track?
Every check runs on Claude, with live web search turned on, and it's included in every plan. If you also want ChatGPT, Gemini or Perplexity, you can connect your own account with those providers and they're added to your checks. We don't track Google's AI Overviews (the answer box at the top of Google search) or Copilot yet, and we'd rather tell you that than pretend we do.
How is it measured?
We ask each search in several different ways, as different buyers would phrase it. We check every answer for your client's name, where they appear in the list, and whether their website is linked. AI answers vary from one ask to the next, so the results are based on many answers, never just one.
Do I need my own AI keys?
No. Every plan includes its AI answers each month on Claude, so there are no API keys to set up and no separate AI bill. The free trial includes 100 answers. If you need more than your plan includes, or want ChatGPT, Gemini or Perplexity as well, you can connect your own account with that AI provider and pay them directly.
Can the reports carry my agency's brand?
Yes, on the Agency plan. The report shows your name, logo, colour and website, and nothing of ours. Solo and Growth reports include a small "Powered by AskWho" line.
How does the 7-day trial work?
Every account starts with a 7-day free trial, no card needed. When it ends, choose a plan to keep going. Either way, we keep your clients, checks and reports.
Can I cancel?
Yes, any time. Billing is handled by Paddle, and you can download your data as a CSV file before you leave.
